The Kia Optima’s front roof line mimics the “tiger nose” grill.

And yes, the cue is still present when equipped with any of the sunroof options. It’s just more difficult to notice.

Here’s one more for you since it’s relevant, the support structure for 2016 Optima’s panoramic sunroof uses carbon-fiber reinforced plastic in order to lower the center of gravity and drop a bit of weight. So CFRP has officially fallen all the way from the i8 to Korean family sedans in two or three years.

I don’t think Korean cars occupy the place in the market they used to. Wait until it hits Chinese cars.

You’re welcome! I think there are other Kia cars that have the same cue, I just can’t remember.

From a design standpoint, I like this cue.
